Norfolk is a beautiful county that has some diverse areas. Great Yarmouth and the other neighbouring towns such as Caister-on-Sea, on the east coast are the best known for family fun holidays and have all the facilities that you would expect including rides and other entertainment. If you are thinking of a day in the city, Norwich has a lot to offer with a stunning cathedral that dominates the skyline. Other areas of Norfolk to explore include the Fens, formerly a marshland, but drained to make a rich arable area for farming with lovely market towns such as Downham Market. In the south of Norfolk is a delightful area known as the Brecks that includes the Thetford Forest, the largest lowland pine forest in the UK.
