More Info graphic

Norfolk is a beautiful county that has some diverse areas. Great Yarmouth and the other neighbouring towns such as Caister-on-Sea, on the east coast are the best known for family fun holidays and have all the facilities that you would expect including rides and other entertainment. Close to Great Yarmouth are the stunning Norfolk Broads, a network of broad inland lakes combined with 5 rivers that creates the largest wetland area in the UK, ideal as a nature reserve and also a centre for boating.

The North Norfolk coast is a designated area of outstanding natural beauty and is also a good destination for a beach holiday. If you are thinking of a day in the city, Norwich has a lot to offer with a stunning cathedral that dominates the skyline. Other areas of Norfolk to explore include the Fens, formerly a marshland, but drained to make a rich arable area for farming with lovely market towns such as Downham Market. In the south of Norfolk is a delightful area known as the Brecks that includes the Thetford Forest, the largest lowland pine forest in the UK.
